Winfried Glatzeder

Winfried Glatzeder (born 26.4.1945). Glatzeder is the charmingly lanky Paul in THE LEGEND OF PAUL AND PAULA (1972). The actor is still associated with this role today, the film has cult status. But the actor also made a name for himself at DEFA in other roles, for example as doctoral student Erwin Graffunda and as Till Eulenspiegel, and became an audience favourite in the mid-1970s. He appeared in around 20 DEFA cinema and television films. In 1982 he left the GDR with his family.
